About Becky Bowe

Becky Bowe is a 28-year-old singer-songwriter based in North Yorkshire. Known for her rich vocals and heartfelt songwriting, Becky first made her mark as a solo artist before forming the musical duo Ember with producer and musician Jason Odle. Since launching in 2022, Ember has released a string of original tracks and continues to create and perform new music into 2025, with live gigs throughout the year showcasing their evolving sound.

Beyond her recording projects, Becky has a wealth of performance experience, having appeared on several major UK television programs. She was the lead soloist for Leeds Contemporary Singers on BBC’s Pitch Battle (2017), performing alongside Will Young and Kelis. Her TV appearances also include BBC’s This is My Song and Gareth Malone’s The Choir: Aylesbury Prison, as well as a standout performance at Children In Need (2018) at Wembley Arena, backing Mica Paris.

In addition to performing, Becky is a vocal coach with over eight years of private teaching experience. Her students range from young beginners to professional recording artists, and many have gone on to gain places at the UK’s top drama schools and music conservatoires. With a 100% pass rate in Trinity Rock and Pop exams, Becky is passionate about helping singers of all levels build confidence, develop technique, and find their unique voice.

Becky also founded and leads the Scotton Pop Choir, a vibrant adult community choir that meets weekly and has been going strong since 2018. Her work as a vocal coach, choir leader, and artist reflects her commitment to making music accessible, expressive, and empowering for everyone.
